Design for Change: Singapore Study Tour 2026

DGN2000 Design for Change: Singapore Study Tour 2026

Theme: Sustainability in Health Care

Design and Health students from three universities in Australia will meet in Singapore and work with local and students from Dubai to research and create new innovative design solutions in Health.  Alongside this you will explore culturally significant sites with plenty of free time. Apply to this program to gain hands-on experience addressing real-world health challenges through collaborative, multidisciplinary design in an international setting.

Students will engage in hands-on collaboration across borders and disciplines. Alongside this, they will immerse themselves in a rich tapestry of cultural experiences; visiting world-class museums, galleries, and local markets, and participating in site visits that bring regional context and inspiration to life.

Participants will forge lifelong friendships, exchange knowledge across disciplines, and build global networks that will shape their future careers. These deeply human experiences—shared meals, cultural immersion, and intercultural teamwork—build empathy, open minds, and plant the seeds of real-world change.  In 2024, a project went on to be selected for the 'Prototypes for Humanity' exhibition in Dubai. It was selected as one of 100 out of 3000 global entries.

Watch a video from the 2024 program to see what  you'll experience during this program.
