Explore one of Asia’s most dynamic and globally connected economies on the Taiwan Study Tour. This program offers students the opportunity to examine a distinctive business landscape shaped by export-oriented growth, advanced technology sectors and strong integration into global supply chains.
Through a combination of academic engagement and industry exposure, students will gain insight into key themes including innovation and entrepreneurship, manufacturing and industrial clusters, global trade, and consumer behaviour in a highly digital and competitive market environment.
Participants will engage with a range of organisations across sectors to better understand how businesses operate within this rapidly evolving economy. Company visits and guest sessions may include leading technology firms, advanced manufacturing organisations, retail and consumer businesses, transportation and infrastructure providers, and innovation hubs driving digital transformation and research and development.
The program also includes cultural experiences and site visits, providing context to Taiwan’s history, society and contemporary identity, and enabling students to reflect on how cultural influences shape business practices.
Blending academic learning with real-world engagement, this study tour builds practical knowledge and cross-cultural capability, equipping students with valuable insights into doing business in a key Asia-Pacific market.
Students are required to attend a pre-departure briefing on Tuesday 27 October 2026 at Caulfield campus.
