Choose a cause that reflects your vision
Leaving a bequest is a deeply personal decision. After considering and discussing the needs of your family and loved ones, you may also choose to leave a gift in your Will to Monash.
You can leave a specific bequest to an area meaningful to you.
You might choose to:
- Support equity scholarships
- Establish an endowed scholarship in your name
- Fund medical research or another area meaningful to you
- Leave a gift to the area of greatest need at the time, to be directed by the President and Vice-Chancellor of the University.
Example of Will wording to discuss with your solicitor
“I bequeath to Monash University of Clayton, Victoria 3800, ABN 12 377 614 012, the sum of ______________ dollars OR ______% of my residual estate, to be applied for the purposes of ______________ (or) by Monash University in such a manner as its Directors may determine.
I direct that the receipt in writing of an authorised officer of Monash University shall be deemed proof of payment.”
