Karen Brown

Farewell Karen

In 2022 Karen Brown took up a new role at Deakin University, as Associate Director, Development.

While this is sad news for us, this is a really exciting opportunity for Karen and we congratulate her on her appointment. Karen had a significant impact at Monash, with a particular highlight being the achievement of the campaign goal of doubling bequests early, despite the challenges of COVID. She has the amazing ability to have meaningful relationships with our bequestors and continually promoted the importance of Planned Giving throughout Monash.

Sally De Gunigand

Welcome Sally

Sally De Gunigand is joining Monash University in January as the new Senior Manager, Planned Giving.

Sally is no stranger to the education sector, having previously held senior philanthropic roles at Ruyton Girls School and Lauriston Girls School. Sally is looking forward to connecting with Monash’s inspiring donor community, working closely with bequestors to create legacies of positive change.

Matheson Society Survey

Thank you to all Matheson Society members who completed our inaugural feedback survey earlier this year. Comments such as “I am incredibly proud to be a member of the Matheson Society” were wonderful to hear. The insights will help us better understand how we can tailor events for the Matheson Society community, and strengthen your connection to Monash.

We are always interested in your feedback, contact us at giving@monash.edu at any time.
