Benefits to Monash through support of the Foundation:
- The Foundation distributes over $20 million (4% of the Trust’s net assets) each year to support the strategic objectives of the University.
- The Foundation’s community engagement grant financially supports programs run through the University such as students volunteering in bushfire affected areas and breaking the cycle of disadvantage for young people in the Frankston-Peninsula region.
- The Foundation funds the Monash Commission - each independent inquiry aims to reimagine multifaceted, system-level challenges to pursue forward-looking and applicable recommendations."
