Dr. Harriman Saragih is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), currently serving at the Masters of Business Innovation program at Monash University, Indonesia. Known for his excellence in executive education, he has been nominated for the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence at Monash University (Australia). Additionally, Dr. Saragih has received the Dean’s Award for the Industry and Community Education Program from Monash Business School (Australia), underscoring his commitment to bridging academia and industry. His teaching portfolio includes senior professionals from leading organizations such as Bank Mandiri, PLN, PwC, Microsoft, and Unilever, spanning roles from Vice President to C-level executives.

A Fulbright Scholar at Cornell University (US), he deepened his expertise and pedagogical skills by engaging with executive education at renowned institutions, including a specialization in Applied Data Science from Columbia University. His notable achievements include being a finalist in the Generative AI x Assessment category at Monash TransformEd (Malaysia), demonstrating significant impact in the integration of generative AI into higher education and learning.

His skills in innovative problem-solving are evidenced by his Certified Design Thinking Practitioner title from IBM. Before joining Monash, Harriman served as a Training Analyst at the China National Offshore Oil Corporation, diving deep into the energy sector. His leadership in executive education excelled at Prasetiya Mulya Business School, where he headed the Executive MBA program and served as Associate Consultant in the Executive Learning Institute. He has also had the honor of coaching the Indonesian team, guiding them to become finalists in the prestigious HSBC/HKU (Hong Kong) Business Case Competition on the global stage.

Harriman's global contributions are seen in partnerships with top organizations, including the Australia Indonesia Business Council, Alliance for Digital Health at Monash, Monash School of Pharmacy, and Monash Business School. Additionally, Harriman is affiliated with the Monash Data Futures Institute.

His research interests are in the field of B2B marketing and services inclusion. His publications have employed a diverse range of methodologies, including qualitative methods, structural equation models, machine learning, and natural language processing.
