How Much are the Tuition Fees at Monash University, Indonesia?
Bachelor’s Program
The annual tuition fee is set at IDR 200 million for Indonesian students and IDR 224 million for international students enrolled in this program delivered in Indonesia. If transferring to Monash University Australia, fees will follow Monash University Australia’s tuition rates.
To earn a bachelor’s degree, students must complete 144 credit points, which is equivalent to an S1 qualification in Indonesia.
Master’s Program
The annual tuition fee for the master's program is IDR 224 million for Indonesian students and IDR 248 million for international students. To graduate with a master's degree, students need to take 72 credit points and 96 credit points depending on the Master's programs.
- The total cost for a 72-credit point Master's degree is IDR 336 Million (for Indonesian students) and IDR 372 Million (for international students).
- The total cost for a 96-credit point Master's degree is IDR 448 Million (for lndonesian students) and IDR 496 Million (for international students).
PhD Program

Course Structure
For master's programs at Monash University, Indonesia, students will typically complete their course across 4 terms per year. Each term is 6 weeks in length. Terms are also referred to as teaching blocks or teaching periods. Each term/teaching period is followed by one week for study preparation and exams.
It would depend on which program you are interested in. Some of them have research pathways where you have the possibilities to further your study into a doctoral and some of them are fully coursework with no research unit offered.
Your study mode will determine the number of subjects you take.
- Full-time students typically take 2 units or subjects per term.
- Part-time students typically take 1 unit or subject per term.
Our study modes are flexible, allowing students to transfer between full-time and part-time modes or vice versa during their program. However, students must discuss any changes to their study load with their learning advisor and course coordinator.
Meanwhile, bachelor's and PhD programs are only offered full-time. The bachelor's program follows a semester-based structure, while the PhD is a research-intensive program with a full-time duration of 3.5 to 4 years.
