Dr. Dewi Nur Aisyah is an epidemiologist and digital health expert whose work bridges research, innovation, and public health policy. She serves as Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University, Indonesia and Honorary Associate Professor at University College London, contributing to global scholarship on digital transformation in healthcare systems, infectious disease surveillance, and primary care strengthening.

At Indonesia’s Ministry of Health, Dr. Aisyah plays a key role as Technical Advisor for Primary Care and Disease Control Digital Transformation, leading national-scale initiatives such as the SATUSEHAT health data integration platform and the ASIK primary care data system. She also pioneered the Cek Kesehatan Gratis (CKG) Presidential health screening program, which leverages real-time data for community health monitoring across Indonesia, as well as the country’s first Electronic Immunization Registry encompassing over 250 million vaccination records.

Previously, she served as Head of Data and Information Technology at the Indonesia COVID-19 National Task Force, where she led the development of the Bersatu Lawan COVID-19 national data integration system—an initiative recognized for transforming pandemic management and informing high-level policy decisions. Her contributions during this period earned her the Gatra Award for National Pandemic Contribution (2021) and recognition as one of the Women in GovTech (2024) for her leadership in public sector innovation.

Dr. Aisyah earned her PhD in Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Informatics from University College London under the Indonesia Presidential Scholarship and her MSc in Modern Epidemiology from Imperial College London. Her research focuses on infectious disease epidemiology, digital health innovation, One Health, primary healthcare strengthening, and the application of data science to strengthen health systems in low- and middle-income countries.
