How to Join?

1. You must a member of Ecommurz (Murzfam). How to become their member?

You need to have or create an account on Murzfeed.com
Once you have an account, please fill in this form. Further information, read here.
Ecommurz will validate your membership status, then send the invitation of this competition to your email.

2. Once you get the invitation, you need to select your desired competition category, whether you want to join Marketing and Digital Communications or Cybersecurity.

3. Submit the required works. Detailed information please read on Eligibility & Rules section.

4. Read the Timeline section to avoid late submission.

Stages View

Stage 1	First Round Submission Marketing and Digital Communications: CV, deck presentation, and 30 seconds reels video. Cybersecurity: CV and Instagram Images carousel post.
Stage 2	On-campus Workshop Only selected participants will be invited to attend on-campus workshop. The participants are expected to make and improve the deck presentation and essay.
Stage 3	Pitch Presentation (Demo Day) Only top 5 participants will be selected to present their work. We will also announce the top 3 winners.

31 July 2024	Stage 1 First Round - Due date submission
6 August 2024	Announcement of participants who passed to the Stage 2
10 August 2024	Stage 2 On-campus Workshop - Selected participants will receive a workshop from the Monash University, Indonesia MMDC and MCS Academics.
10-16 August 2024	Elimination Stage 2 - Submission for deck presentation and essay
20 August 2024	Announcement of top 5 participants who pass to the Grand Final
24 August 2024	Stage 3 Grand Final - Presentation in front of judges and winner announcement

Eligibility Criteria:

You must a member of Ecommurz (Ecommurz team will validate)
Your content must be original and never won any competitions previously

Rules:

In the first round, the participants are required to submit their works as follow:

Marketing and Digital Communications

The participants are required to submit:
- Updated CV (one page only)
- Deck Presentation, can be PPT or Google Slide (max. 3 pages)
- 30 seconds video uploaded on Instagram reels (ensure your account is set to public)
- Follow and tag Instagram accounts @monashuni_indonesia and @ecommurz, and use hashtag #MonashuniIndonesiaxMurzMMDC
Your presentation contains the problem identification and how Marketing and Digital Communications can be used to contribute in minimising the issue. Hence participants should present:
- What is the situation?
- Why is it an important issue to highlight?
- What are the suggestions to tackle this issue?
The video should begin with data and facts and then participants can highlight either one of the two options:
- The importance of the problem
- The suggested strategies to tackle the problem
Note: The 30 seconds video doesn’t necessarily include all. Choose which information can you present best.

Cybersecurity

- Updated CV (one page only)
- Instagram images carousel (max. 10 images)
- Essay (stage 2)
- Ensure your Instagram account is set to public
- Follow and tag Instagram accounts @monashuni_indonesia and @ecommurz, and use hashtag #MonashuniIndonesiaxMurzMCS
- The content should be based on the suggested topics above
- The images should contain: Problem, Solution, and Impact
- The images should contain visual and text
After attending the workshop, the participants are required to submit an essay in order to be eligible to move to the next round. Please read this essay guidelines and requirement for your reference.

All works submitted will become the property of the competition provider.
Late submission will not be accepted.

There is no specific format or template. However, we provide this essay guidelines for your reference. Please read it thoroughly.
There is no specific template for CV and deck presentation. Feel free to use your own template, as long it's simple, readable, and structured.
