South Tangerang - In a thrilling conclusion to the Business Innovation competition, jointly hosted by Monash University, Indonesia and Minutes of Managers (MoM), three outstanding participants emerged victorious, securing scholarships and cash prizes. The grand finale, held on Saturday, 14 September 2024, at Monash University, Indonesia's BSD campus, marked the culmination of a rigorous selection process aimed at fostering responsible innovation for community resilience.

The competition, which began with participants submitting essays and creative media, progressed through multiple stages, including the MEPT test and an essay workshop. The top four finalists earned their spots in the grand finale, where they presented their refined essays to a panel of judges.

While the judges deliberated, finalists and MoM members participated in an enlightening public speaking workshop delivered by Ryan Dwana, Head of Marketing at Reku.id. The workshop covered crucial aspects of effective communication, including techniques to improve public speaking skills, methods to capture and maintain audience attention, and the importance of authenticity and vulnerability in presentations. Participants showed great enthusiasm, actively engaging with the content and raising numerous questions. The workshop's relevance to their professional lives sparked lively discussions, creating a dynamic and participatory atmosphere that enhanced the learning experience for all involved.

The competition's primary goal was to generate responsible innovation ideas that create stronger, more resilient, and thriving communities through strategic business initiatives. After careful consideration, the judges announced the winners:

1st Place: Melisa Affandy
Prize: 100% Monash University, Indonesia Scholarship + IDR 5,000,000 cash

2nd Place: Jaqualine
Prize: 50% Monash University, Indonesia Scholarship + IDR 3,000,000 cash

3rd Place: Pradana Vincentiar
Prize: 30% Monash University, Indonesia Scholarship + IDR 1,000,000 cash

The scholarships awarded are specifically for the Master of Business Innovation program at Monash University, Indonesia, with enrollment in the October 2024 intake.

Melisa, the first-place winner, expressed his gratitude, stating, "The Business Innovation Competition has been such an exciting journey, as I got to experience being a student again. All the processes, from the essay competition and workshops to the final presentation, were very smooth. The teams from Minutes of Managers (MoM) and Monash University, Indonesia were incredibly helpful, and I learned many new things from the judges.

The scholarship will be immensely beneficial for me as I seek to elevate my career. The knowledge I'll gain can be directly applied to my professional life, helping me grow and succeed in my field."
