MBI students cohort 2022 celebrating Appreciation Night
South Tangerang – The MBI students cohort 2022 recently hosted an Appreciation Night to mark the end of their studies at Monash University, Indonesia. The event took place on Saturday, 9 March 2024 at the Monash University, Indonesia BSD campus. Not only the students, all MBI faculty members were also present for the occasion.
The Appreciation Night event is a cherished tradition of Monash University, Indonesia’s MBI students. This annual celebration is a testament to the institution's unwavering commitment to recognizing and honouring the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of its students.

Head of the MBIAN Event Committee, Ilona Juwita, shared, "It was wonderful, full of laughter, great food, and good music. Students and lecturers gathered together to sing, dance, and play quizzes. At the end, we handed out some awards for students with fun kinds of awards."
Dr. Ivan Butar, Associate Professor in the MBI program and VP of Education of Monash University, Indonesia, praised the students, "Congratulations to each of you (MBI students cohort 2022). This is truly a significant milestone in your life, and I'm very grateful and also honoured to be part of it. Wishing you all the best in the future. My piece of advice, be grateful everyday, be kind, and be selfless."

Students really enjoyed the event, feeling relieved after 1.5 years of hard work. The room was nicely decorated and had games set up, making it feel very different from their usual classroom. Students wore school uniforms while teachers dressed up in outfits picked by the event team. This fun twist reminded everyone of their high school days.
As a parting gift, each student got a cookie shaped like their student ID card and a pack of cards with photos of student activities.
