Melbourne, 27 February 2024 - Monash University Clayton campus welcomed the Bank tabungan Negara (BTN) delegation in the Chancellery building. Monash University, Indonesia has an existing collaboration with BTN, particularly in their master's program where BTN employees are sent to participate in the MBI (Master of Business and Innovation) program.
Aligned with the BTN program in 2024, “BTN Goes Global”, the purpose of this meeting is to further strengthen this collaboration, focusing not only on the master's program but also on executive education and providing international experiences at Monash University's campus in Australia.
Currently, the BTN is actively seeking collaboration opportunities with Monash University in various areas, including IT (Cybersecurity, Data Science), Urban Design, Global Business Networking, and Leadership (Personal Development).

The BTN delegation was comprised of representatives: Bapak Eko Waluyo, Director of Human Capital, Legal, and Compliance; Bapak Andi Nirwoto, Director of IT and Digital; Ibu Rahmayati, Head of HC Management Division; Bapak Joko Christianto, Head of IT Strategic Planning and Development Division; Bapak Muhammad Daulani, Head of HC Operation Department; Bapak Arip Firtana, Head of IT Department; and Gandung, recipient of the BTN Postgraduate Scholarship.

On the Monash side, present were Professor Matthew Nicholson, President of Monash University, Indonesia; Zara Karaduman, Deputy Director of Alumni and Stakeholder Engagement; and Vicki Goodwin, Director of Strategy and Alignment - UMAC. Additionally, Monash University, Indonesia colleagues, including Tantia Dian Permata Indah (COO), Suryo Danuwinoto (Senior Manager Marketing and Communication), Dr. Yessy Perangin Angin (Associate Professor MBI), and Armyna Paramita (B2B Marketing Manager), joined the discussion remotely via Zoom.
This meeting will facilitate discussions on enhancing these aspects of collaboration between Monash University, Indonesia and BTN, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship. Further discussions will be held in Indonesia, where Monash University, Indonesia, and BTN will delve deeper into the possibilities of these collaborative ventures.
