Dr Irvan Bastian Arief is a leading digital executive and strategist, and the creator of the RUP and DA-HOC machine learning algorithms.

Having worked with, and for, some of the most progressive global companies in Australia and Asia, Dr Arief is the Associate Vice-President of Data Science at tiket.com, where he leads the development of artificial intelligence-related products and knowledge.

Dr Arief completed a Master of Business Information Systems at Monash, where his lessons were imbued with first-hand industry knowledge and experience. Dr Arief has spent time over the past eight years returning to Monash to teach the next generation, providing the industry know-how he found so valuable as a postgraduate student.
