Conversion of CGPA of Master and Doctoral Program

Based on the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kepmendikburistek RI No. 641/E/O/2023), students and institutions can refer to how Monash University GPA is equivalent and converted to a Cumulative Grade Point Average for use in Indonesia. The Conversion Table of the Cumulative Grade Point Average for Monash University Indonesia below, is set by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

The conversion should be read in conjunction with your Academic Record, a formal transcript of the student’s academic history at Monash University, which includes all unit attempts and grades for each unit.


How to read and use the table?

1. See your Monash GPA in your WES, Course Progression tab, unofficial academic record
2. Find your Monash GPA on the left column of the table
3. The corresponding conversion of Indonesian CGPA equivalent to your Monash GPA will in the next column.
Example:
Your Monash GPA is 3.00. Based on the table, you will find that it is equivalent to 3.67 in Indonesia's CGPA (IPK).
