The Master of Public Policy and Management builds practical knowledge and essential skills for international careers in policy making and management across the spectrum of public sector activities. This multi-disciplinary course develops understanding of the processes of policy formation, the delivery of policy programs, and the political and structural realities that can impact on decision-making. The course combines a focus on building knowledge and understanding of critical issues in public policy, governance, policy analysis and public sector reform. You will choose to specialise in either global studies or policy studies.
Complimenting your public policy and management studies, the Master of International Development Practice offers a multi-disciplinary, applied approach to the theory and practice of sustainable human development. Equitable and sustainable human development remains a pressing global concern. Complex socio-political, health, economic, cultural, humanitarian, and ecological challenges contribute to extreme poverty, reduced human development, fragile governance and environmental vulnerability affecting the well-being of millions of people worldwide.
