Membership details

Memberships are free and available to Australian residents over 18 years old, photo ID is required for verification.

What you can access

  • 15 items for two weeks
    • Excludes high-demand, restricted loan, reserve items and journals.
    • Videos, CDs and other special materials may be borrowed depending on the loan conditions applying for different collections.
    • Loans can be renewed for a period of up to three months.
  • Check your emails for information about your loans, as you will receive an email alert a few days before the end of your loan period.
  • You won't be able to borrow if you have an item that is overdue.

Monitor your loans, due dates, and requests in Search. Select "Sign in" and then "My Loans".

CAVAL & ULANZ

If you're a student or staff from a participating Victorian university, TAFE or college, you can enjoy access to our collections thanks to the CAVAL Reciprocal Borrowing and ULANZ Borrowing Schemes.
