Monash staff and students have free access to many current newspapers. Avoid paywalls and subscription fees by using the links below.

How to access current newspapers

For most newspapers you just need to follow two simple steps.

  1. Select “Monash University” as your institution (some newspapers skip this step).
  2. Sign into Okta with your Monash email and password.

Research newspapers

You can also access a large database of research and historical newspapers through Search or via our Newspaper guide, where we’ll also help you apply critical thinking skills when reading news articles.
