Membership for general public
Access parts of our collection by registering for a membership.
Membership eligibility
Membership is free of charge for eligible members of the community who are:
- Not current staff or students of Monash University
- Photo ID is required for verification.
Registered visitors can only borrow from Monash University's Victorian libraries.
What you can access
You can access 15 items for two weeks:
- Excludes high-demand, restricted loan, reserve items and journals.
- Videos, CDs and other special materials may be borrowed by users over the age of 18, depending on the loan conditions applying for different collections.
- Loans can be renewed for a period of up to three months.
Monitor your loans, due dates, and requests in the Library search. Select 'Sign in' and then 'My Loans'.
You won't be able to borrow if you have an item that is overdue. You will receive an email alert a few days before your items are due for return.
