We are open the general public. To borrow, visitors need to join the Library and register for a free membership.
Special Collections reading room

Register to access items from our Special Collections, including overseas researchers with no Australian address.

Visitor kiosks

You can use the visitor kiosks at our library branches across Victoria. These computers are set up to help you access some of our electronic resources. If you need any help accessing a visitor kiosk, staff at the Library information point can help get you connected.
