Treasures from the Monash University Library

The Treasures from the Monash University Library exhibition spans 930 years, from 1050 to 1980 and features items from our Special Collections.

From antique cookbooks used as part of a modern-day bake-off and the medical writings of William Osler, to abortion protest material from the 1970s, the items highlight the variety of ways these materials are used in teaching, learning and research at Monash.

The twelve exhibition themes showcase how much our past still informs our present, and have been curated to contribute to the ongoing conversation about the big global challenges Monash University is tackling as part of our Impact 2030 strategic plan.
