Alysha has been an Emergency Department Nurse for seven years, working in both metropolitan and regional settings. She has worked as a clinical nurse educator in the emergency department and enjoyed being involved with the transition of graduate nurses into the speciality of emergency nursing.

Alysha has long been passionate about end of life and palliative care in the emergency department, moving on to focus on this as a research interest.
