Mental health nursing

Research area

Mental health nursing

Our aim is to explore clients, relatives, and communities’ responses to ill mental health across the lifespan, and how nurses and other mental health professionals can assist them in improving their health. This includes a particular focus on nurses’ day-to-day clinical practices as part of future-proofing the education and development of the Australian nursing workforce. In our research activities, we aspire to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the relevancy and translatability of our research.
