Biography

Kaori has working experiences in the area of palliative care in both Japan and Australia. After joining Nursing and Midwifery, Kaori has focused on teaching undergraduate programs and Japanese nursing student programs.

Kaori’s professional interests are palliative care, loss and grief, and cross cultural nursing/education.

Currently, Kaori is a unit coordinator of NUR2227 Primary Health Care and Health Promotion in Nursing and Midwifery Contexts. Kaori is also a program coordinator for Japanese programs (international nursing and palliative care) teaching undergraduate nursing students from Japan. These programs are developed to meet the academic needs of Japanese nursing students.
