Kathryn Pristupa

Kathryn is a dedicated and seasoned nurse, possessing extensive experience in emergency and trauma nursing, coupled with a strong background in nursing education and a keen interest for nursing research. With many years of hand-on experience in the emergency setting, Kathryn brings a breadth of clinical experience, including skills in triage, critical care interventions, leadership and patient and staff advocacy.

Kathryn has played an instrumental role in shaping the future of emergency nursing education, nationally. Having previously worked in the role of Education Consultant and now an active member of the National Education Committee for CENA, Kathryn has and continues to contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive educational initiatives tailored to the unique needs for emergency nurses across the country.

Kathryn maintains her emergency nursing expertise working clinically across public and private emergency departments. Kathryn strives to empower emergency nurses at all levels to reach their full potential and deliver exceptional patient care. Kathryn aims to facilitate positive learning experiences and is passionate about the influence and application of evidence-based research in the clinical setting.
