Kelly Ottosen

Lecturer

Kelly has over 13 years of specialty nursing experience in the areas of Nephrology, Neurosciences and Critical Care. She has also spent much of her career in education and research in Clinical Educator, Research Coordinator and Project Manager roles.

Joining Monash Nursing and Midwifery as a teaching associate in 2020, she has since joined the Postgraduate Intensive Care team as a Lecturer. Her qualifications include Master of Health Science (Clinical Practice) with a major in Neurosciences, Post Graduate Certificate in Critical Care and Bachelor of Nursing (Hons).

Having worked in major metropolitan hospitals, Kelly brings her experience and knowledge in critical care nursing into her teaching and is passionate about medication safety and empowering nurses to recognise and respond to patient deterioration.
