Louise Shorten

Louise has extensive experience in Emergency Nursing and is particularly passionate about strengthening nursing scope through further education. In 2017 she completed her post graduate certificate in Emergency Nursing and went on to finish her Master of Advanced Clinical Nursing in 2020. Her interests include simulation-based training, emerging technologies for healthcare assessment, and optimising technologies to improve nursing care. Louise began as a Teaching Associate at Monash University in 2021 and has more recently transitioned to a Lecturer. Louise is dedicated to growing the novice nurse into an expert clinician through education and support.
