Samantha joined Monash University – Nursing & Midwifery in 2017. She has an extensive background in emergency nursing, working most recently as a clinical nurse educator in a busy metropolitan emergency department.

Samantha is passionate about the education of our future nurses. She has developed a keen interest in the use of simulation to bridge the learning gap between classroom theory and clinical practice.  She believes the use of simulation embedded in nursing curricula has the positive benefit of developing knowledgeable, skilled and effective healthcare professionals, who can provide quality care for patients.
