Dai Le

studentMaster of Advanced Clinical Midwifery Practice

Working as a midwife in one of Vietnam’s leading maternity hospitals, Dai was passionate about improving the context of local midwifery care, but felt she lacked the leadership skills needed to make changes in her workplace. Through an Australian Awards Scholarship, Dai was able to complete the Master of Advanced Clinical Midwifery Practice, a postgraduate qualification designed to prepare registered midwives for senior management, education, professional and specialist leadership roles in a range of midwifery settings.

Dai chose to study at Monash because of the university’s reputation and benefited from the knowledge and support of our expert clinical staff and the flexibility of the course delivery.

“I feel more confident and the knowledge
I’ve gained from this course has laid a solid foundation for my future career."

“I feel more confident and the knowledge I’ve gained from this course has laid a solid foundation for my future career. I am now in a position to manage health projects in my hospital”. Dai hopes to one day develop the first human milk bank in southern Vietnam.
