Radiation Sciences
Capacity Statement
SPAHC researchers are involved in a broad range of research in radiography, radiology and radiation therapy, as well as radiation physics and educational research (academic and clinical) in these disciplines. The major research focuses on clinical research to better detect new disease, manage ongoing disease and therapy in patients with cancer or injuries using current and new, cutting edge radiological applications. We also have a strong research focus on functional and anatomic MRI brain imaging, forensic imaging, synchrotron imaging, ultrasound safety and investigations into professional practice in radiation science professions (including ultrasound).
