Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery

Our research group focuses on the synthesis and design of organic molecules and catalysts for applications in drug therapy, bioimaging and material science. In Chemical Biology we design our small molecules to help probe biological systems or provide new approaches to improving success rates in drug discovery, especially through site directed drug delivery.  This in turn overlaps with our Drug Discovery efforts, where our advances in Chemical Biology are applied to selected disease-states and biological targets.
