Welcome to MMQPA

We are a team of Quantitative Pharmacologists dedicated to advancing the frontiers of mRNA medicine. Established as part of a new joint venture between Monash University and Moderna, our group leverages quantitative pharmacology methodologies, including quantitative systems pharmacology to accelerate the development and application of mRNA-based therapies including vaccines and therapeutics.

Quantitative pharmacology uses mathematical computer models to help describe and predict how medicines will work in the human body. Much like mRNA technology, quantitative pharmacology is a transformative science which has significantly improved the speed, efficiency and safety of the drug development process.
