CORTx
Welcome to CORTx
CORTX is a national program established by the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Monash University in partnership with biotech companies, Moderna and iCamuno, and leading Universities and Research Institutions across Australia, including University of Melbourne, Walter and Eliza Hall Research Institute, Australian National University and University of New South Wales, with the support of the Australian Governments Medical Research Future Fund.
CORTX is a unique platform providing services for academics and biotech companies to comprehensively evaluate the biopharmaceutical properties of mRNA delivery systems. CORTX uses cutting edge sequencing technology to profile the pharmacokinetics and biodistribution to improve the design of mRNA medicines. We are combining this technology with Monash University's proprietary cell-targeting technology to improve the efficiency, specificity, efficacy and safety of mRNA-nanoparticle formulations.
Our researchers comprise a dynamic group of experts working in collaboration with scientists across Australia to explore a comprehensive range of therapeutic targets. CORTX research projects tackle key global health problems including treatments for cancer, infectious, metabolic and autoimmune diseases.
