Eligibility Criteria:

1. Participants must be at least 21 years old and have an interest in global business.
2. Able to join Master of Global Business program for July 2025 intake.
3. Able to study full-time and attend the class on the weekdays.
4. The competition is open to individuals (single person) only.
5. Your work must be original and never won any competitions previously.

Rules:

In the first round, the participants are required to submit their works as follows:

• 1-minute pitch video. Follow this template.
• Submissions will be closed on 7 June 2025.
• Video must not exceed 1 minute and should be in MP4/MOV format.
• It must clearly present the business idea in a concise manner and align with the competition theme.
• Editing is allowed, but AI-generated voices or avatars cannot be used as a replacement for the participant’s actual presentation.

Disqualification Conditions:

• Submission contains inappropriate content or is off-topic.
• Video exceeds the time limit without valid technical reasons.
• The video is a reupload from another competition.

Only the Top 50 participants will move on to the second round. The participants will go through a workshop session to where the participants are required to refine their proposal. The submission should be as follows:

• Proposal must not exceed 7 pages in PDF format, including the cover page and appendices.
• Data sources must be cited if business claims or market research are included.
• Participants may refine their initial idea but cannot completely change the business concept.

Disqualification Conditions:

• Proposal contains false or misleading information.
• Content violates copyright laws or copies another idea without proper attribution.
• Failure to submit the refined proposal within the given timeframe.

Terms & Conditions

Intellectual Property & Originality:

• All ideas and proposals must be original and must not have been submitted in other competitions.
• Any form of plagiarism or unauthorized use of someone else’s ideas will result in disqualification.

Disqualification & Ethics:

• Participants are prohibited from using AI to generate their proposals entirely without their own input.
• Any manipulation of data or submission of false information will lead to immediate disqualification.
• Participants must adhere to all deadlines. Late submissions will result in automatic elimination.

Final Notes:

• All works submitted into this competition must be in English.
• All works submitted will become the property of the competition provider.
• Late submission will not be accepted.
• If participants encounter technical issues before the submission deadline, they must inform the committee at least 24 hours in advance for alternative solutions.
• The judges' decisions are final and cannot be contested.
• Prizes will only be awarded to winners who fully comply with all terms and conditions.
