Jakarta - Monash University, Indonesia, in collaboration with Ecommurz, is proud to announce the Marketing & Digital Communication - Cybersecurity Competition, an exclusive opportunity for Murzfam members to demonstrate their expertise and creativity.

Designed exclusively for Ecommurz members (Murzfam), this competition targets fresh graduates and young professionals eager to make their mark in the fields of marketing, digital communications, and cybersecurity. The multi-stage contest not only challenges participants' existing skills but also provides valuable learning experiences along the way.

The participants have been selected from the first stage and they need to join the offline workshop, scheduled for August 10, 2024 at  Pullman Hotel Jakarta. The participants will receive an intensive learning experience, this workshop not only provides valuable insights and skills development but also coincides with Monash University Indonesia's Info Session, offering participants a unique opportunity to learn more about the university's programs and culture.

As an added benefit, participants will have the chance to take the Monash English Placement Test (MEPT) free of charge, allowing them to assess their English proficiency and potentially streamline their future application process. This comprehensive event combines education, networking, and practical assessment, setting the stage for the next phase of the competition and potentially opening doors to future academic pursuits at Monash University, Indonesia.

Following the on-campus workshop, the competition enters its final, exciting phase. After participants have refined their submissions based on the insights gained during the workshop, a rigorous selection process will take place. The top performers from this stage will be invited to attend the grand finale on August 24, 2024 at Monash University, Indonesia BSD campus.

At the grand finale, selected finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects to a panel of expert judges. This is their chance to shine, demonstrating the skills they've honed throughout the competition and the knowledge they've gained from the workshop. The day will conclude with the much-anticipated winner announcement, marking the climax of this intense and rewarding journey.

The winners will be awarded scholarships to study at Monash University, Indonesia. The first-place winner will receive a 100% scholarship, the second-place winner a 50% scholarship, and the third-place winner a 30% scholarship. These scholarships open the door for the winners to pursue either a Master of Marketing and Digital Communications (MMDC) or a Master of Cybersecurity (MCS).

This prize represents not just financial support, but a gateway to world-class education and potential career advancement. Laurencia Sintiche Pandelaki, the competition participant who joined the MMDC category, said “I received a lot of useful tips from Dr. Triana on developing & designing not only my upcoming presentation, but also for any future pitch deck I will work on. Super inspiring to know how valuable and prestigious a Monash degree is, glad I joined the Monash University, Indonesia x Ecommurz competition.”

In addition, Samuel Septiano, a participant from Cybersecuirty category also shared his thoughts regarding the workshop. “My impression of the message during the workshop event with Monash University, Indonesia was exciting and I got a lot of information about studying at Monash University, Indonesia such as information related to the majors or programs, and materials that we will get while studying. The resource person explained very well and the Q&A session was answered clearly. There I also had the opportunity to meet many people with different backgrounds. In short, the event went very well and the selection of the event venue was right, ” said Samuel.
