EduVate 2024: A Journey of Innovation and Collaboration
EduVate 2024 offline event at Monash University, Indonesia BSD Campus
We are thrilled by the incredible success of EduVate 2024, an achievement made possible through the hard work and dedication of everyone involved from Monash University, Indonesia, Monash University, Malaysia, Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi (LLDIKTI) IV West Java-Banten, and all participants from 130 institutions. From the online discussions and webinars on 19 and 20 August to the talk show, learning and teaching showcases, workshops, poster exhibition, and roundtable discussion on 21 August, every detail came together to create a memorable experience for nearly 200 participants.
The feedback we’ve received has been incredibly encouraging. One participant reflected: "I've never experienced an academic forum in Indonesia as well-organised as the one Monash Indonesia held this week. From registration to closing, everything was exceptional. The presentations and speakers truly sparked joy and curiosity in my mind, and the atmosphere made me want to stay even longer… I look forward to attending next year's Eduvate!"
This kind of feedback confirms that EduVate 2024 successfully met its goal of offering a unique and enriching educational experience for lecturers and decision-makers in higher education institutions, especially those within the area of LLDIKTI IV and partner universities that have recently joined the strategic alliance with Monash University, Indonesia.
Throughout the event, several actionable solutions were proposed, including designing future-focused curricula that encourage active engagement and collaboration and fostering a culture of lifelong learning among educators and students. Besides, it is highlighted that universities need to invest in connecting with external parties in national and international scope, such as NGOs, government bodies, private companies, and communities, as well as leveraging AI-driven technologies to enrich research and effectively identify practical solutions.
