PT. Brantas Abipraya and Monash University, Indonesia agreed to sign the the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This cooperation aims to enhance employee competency, promote educational opportunities, and investment in human capital for workforce development.

Jakarta, Dec,1, 2023 - PT. Brantas Abipraya (Persero), a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) in the construction sector, and Monash University, Indonesia, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to elevate the competency of employees, particularly in the new capital city (IKN) area. This partnership aims to contribute to the further success of Indonesia, one of the implementation steps towards their mission.

The MoU signing ceremony took place on Friday, 1 December 2023, at Brantas Abipraya's head office in Jakarta. The signing ceremony marks a significant collaboration between the academic and corporate sectors, aimed at developing a framework for mutual cooperation, knowledge exchange, and educational initiatives.

The involvement of the Director of Human Resources and General Affairs, Tumpang Muhammad, suggests a strategic focus on human capital development within PT. Brantas Abipraya (Persero). The partnership with Monash University, Indonesia, is expected to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees, particularly in the new capital city (IKN) area.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Tumpang Muhammad said,"our expectations by signing the MoU is to improve the skills and capabilities of PT Brantas Abipraya’s workforce and encourage more employees to pursue education at Monash University, Indonesia.Through this event, Mr. Tumpang also conveyed his hope that by formalizing this partnership through the MoU, both organizations likely aim to establish a framework for mutual cooperation, knowledge exchange, and educational initiatives.

Professor Andrew MacIntyre, President of Monash University, Indonesia, added, "We are excited to collaborate with PT. Brantas Abipraya (Persero) to develop a framework that promotes the development of human capital in Indonesia. We are committed to creating opportunities for the workforce to enhance their skills and knowledge. In fact, we have welcomed two students from Brantas to study our Master of Urban Design in October 2023. We are optimistic that the knowledge they have gained from our program will give a great significant impact to the company and Indonesia. We look forward to working together with PT.
