Monash University, Indonesia, in collaboration with Sinar Mas Land and Digital Hub, is proud to announce the top 10 finalists for the prestigious Global Business Competition 2025. This competition exemplifies our commitment to fostering innovative thinking and preparing students for the challenges of an increasingly interconnected global business landscape.

After a rigorous selection process that evaluated business proposals on innovation, feasibility, and potential impact, the following exceptional candidates have secured their places in the Grand Finale:

Grand Finale: A Showcase of Business Innovation

The top 10 finalists are required to attend the Grand Finale on Saturday, 5 July 2025, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Jakarta time) at our Monash University, Indonesia BSD campus. This event represents the culmination of months of preparation, research, and refinement of business proposals that address contemporary global challenges.

The finalists will have the opportunity to present their ideas or refined proposals to an esteemed panel of judges comprising industry leaders and academic experts:

  • Dr. Yessy Arnold Perangin Angin, Associate Professor and Course Coordinator - Master of Business Innovation and Global Business, Monash University, Indonesia.
  • Sandra Kosasih, Chief Asset Management BSD Office and Chief Education Business Development, Sinar Mas Land.
  • Jessyca Sentosa, Head of Human Resource, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk.

This panel brings together expertise from academia, corporate leadership, and human resource management, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of each business proposal.

The Grand Finale has been structured to challenge the finalists’ presentation skills and business acumen. Each finalist will be allocated:

  • 10 minutes to present their comprehensive business proposal
  • 10 minutes for an in-depth Q&A session with the judges

This format is designed to test not only the quality of their business proposals but also their ability to communicate effectively and respond thoughtfully to critical questions—essential skills for success in the global business arena.

Supporting the Finalists

In recognition of the importance of community support, each finalist is welcome to bring up to two supporters to the event. This opportunity allows friends, family members, or mentors to witness and celebrate this significant milestone in the finalists’ academic and professional journeys.
