Our works

The LEAF Indonesia addresses pressing challenges at the intersection of environmental sustainability, land governance, and rural development. Our work highlights the risks posed by land conversion, biodiversity loss, and ecosystem degradation, while also examining spatial conflicts, governance gaps, and infrastructure limitations linked to food estate expansion.

Through rigorous research and collaboration with stakeholders, we have established regional baseline assessments, developed models for alternative land use, and produced tools and policy recommendations that inform planning processes. These outcomes not only contribute to evidence-based decision-making but also support more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient pathways for Indonesia’s future.
