Monash University Library is one of Australia's leading academic libraries, with a long-standing reputation for technological innovation and excellence in customer service.
Our collections
There are over 6.7 million items in our collection, including:
- Over 4 million electronic resources
- 2.56 million physical items
- 300,000 electronic and bound journals
- 1,824 databases.
New resources are added to the collection daily to ensure Monash staff and students can access the latest quality resources for teaching, research and study.
The online resources subscribed to by the Library are accessible to Monash staff and students. Select resources are available to Alumni via the Monash Alumni Portal.
We are also proud to maintain a number of special collections of national and international significance.

Our libraries
There are six branch libraries in Victoria, Australia, and associated libraries in Indonesia and Malaysia. The collection at each branch supports the faculties present on the campus it serves.
Every branch has group and individual study areas, computer workstations, and photocopying, scanning and printing facilities. To find out more, go to the web page of the branch you wish to visit.
