How many hours will I spend a week studying on average?

As all cardiac units are 12 credit points, the total study commitment is approximately 288 hours across the semester.
You are expected to be working a minimum of 3 days per week in a cardiac or relevant clinical setting.
You will need to secure a mentor or clinical educator from your workplace who is willing to actively support your learning journey. This person will do much more than observe your practice. They will challenge your thinking, encourage you to reflect on your decisions, provide honest and constructive feedback, and help you translate knowledge into expert clinical practice. By offering guidance, support, and professional insight, they will act as both a coach and a critical friend, helping you continually develop your skills, confidence, and clinical expertise.
