Innovation winners at the 6th Asia-Pacific HPC-AI Student Competition

Congratulations to the Deep Neuron HPC team who won a merit award at the 6th Asia-Pacific HPC-AI Student Competition!

The competition, spanning many months, took the students through a series of training lectures from international experts, to running advanced scientific software on two of the world’s largest computing clusters, the NCI NF and Singapore’s NSCC. The students had two applications to master, a large-scale language model BLOOM, and a weather and climate model MPAS.The award will be presented at the Supercomputing Asia conference in Sydney in February 2024.
