Monash REDCap Upgrade

On 14 April 2025, the REDCap application was upgraded as part of Monash’s essential security maintenance program. This upgrade ensures the Monash REDCap installation remains current with the latest security and functionality enhancements.

If you're an active Monash REDCap user, you should have received communications about the upgrade and what it means for your projects.

One important change in this new version is how certain types of logic behave within REDCap projects. Specifically, the application now handles empty or null fields differently when using comparison operators in logic statements. This may affect the way some projects trigger communications or display information.
