Open Call Monash - Pawsey: Fast Track Access Scheme | Q3 2025

Monash eResearch has established a new partnership with the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre through the 2025 Pawsey Champions Program.

Researchers can request a minimum of 250,000 Service Units (SUs) per quarter, equivalent to one Setonix CPU node or a single AMD MI250x (GPU) GCD. To learn more about the scheme, please visit: Fast Track Access Scheme.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Only applications using a Monash email address will be accepted.
2. The minimum request per quarter is 250,000 Service Units (SUs).
3. Allocations will be granted based on both demand and the nature of the application.
4. Unused allocations will expire at the end of the term and cannot be automatically rolled over to the next term.
5. Excessive unused allocation by the end of the term may reduce the likelihood of receiving a future allocation. Researchers are encouraged to plan their compute and data needs carefully.
6. Excessive unused allocation mid-term may be reclaimed and returned to the resource pool unless valid assurance is provided that it will be used before the end of the term.
7. Pawsey does not currently support sensitive data. Applications involving sensitive data will be automatically rejected. Please get in touch with Monash eResearch at hpc@monash.edu if you require resources for processing sensitive data.
8. All applications must be endorsed by the Monash eResearch HPC Advisory Committee. Requests made directly to the Pawsey Help Desk will be rejected and may affect eligibility for future allocation
9. If your application is endorsed, you will be notified by email. You must then complete the full Pawsey application by 30 May 2025
