Monash Undergraduate students win Merit Award in the 2024 APAC Competition

Congratulations to the Monash Deep Neuron undergraduate team who have won a Merit Award in the 7th APAC HPC-AI Competition. That’s twice in a row now!

The competition had 41 teams from 23 universities and research institutions across 9 countries/regions. Of these, 21 teams made it to the final stage and delivered their final presentations last month.

The Monash Deep-Neuron team is sponsored by Monash eResearch and supervised by Simon Michnowicz, Senior Application Specialist from the eResearch HPC team.

This international award highlights Monash's Leadership in HPC education.
