Gastroenterology Trials Unit
The Gastroenterology Research Unit is made up of a dedicated and highly skilled team of specialist nurses, dieticians, scientists and doctors; we take part in a variety of international, national & local clinical trials including studies in:
- Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)
- Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH or fatty liver)
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
- Coeliac Disease
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
- Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC)
