Dynamics of Change on the Korean Peninsula - KSAA ERG Conference

On July 20-21, 2022, the Korean Studies Association of Australasia’s Emerging Researchers Group hosted its first biennial conference, entitled ‘Dynamics of Change on the Korean Peninsula: 1987-1992’. The conference was targeted towards, and predominantly featured, early career researchers in Korean Studies (i.e. those who have received their PhD within the last five years) – though it also included a small number of PhD candidates and also involved more senior academics in discussant roles. Two senior academics in Korean Studies, Professor Namhee Lee from UCLA and Associate Professor Stephen Epstein from the University of Wellington, were invited as keynote speakers.
