Monash College

Monash College is wholly owned by Monash University. Monash College has its own logo, but adheres to the same rules as the University. Like the Monash University logo there are two components to the Monash College logo: the shield and the wordmark. They must be presented together at all times.

Colour variations and uses

We use different versions depending on the communication channel and space requirements.

Blue crest

For use on all white / light colour backgrounds for Monash College communications.

Reverse / white

For use on dark or coloured backgrounds.
Shield (keyline): white
Wordmark: white

Black crest / mono

To be used when only one colour is applied.

Logo application and usage

There are set ways in which the logo must be applied in all creative applications.

There are two versions of the Monash College logo.
The stacked logo is the recommended option as it has a clean and modern look, and fits most spaces with the greatest impact. Where space is an issue, revert to the single-line version as a secondary option.

One-line logo
When a logo is required on a light or dark-coloured background, a solid or reverse keyline shield logo is used.
The elements in the shield must be clear and the details preserved. This is important for all applications including print, online and signage.
Solid logo
The solid logo is used whenever the logo is placed on a light background.
Reverse keyline shield logo
The reverse keyline shield logo is used whenever the logo is on a dark-coloured background or shown at smaller sizes, to better preserve the details within the crest. The keyline logo is reversed out in white.
The logo shouldn't be reproduced in any size smaller than indicated.
When the standard logo gets smaller, the details within the crest can get lost. At this point the reverse keyline shield logo should be used.
Minimum size for stacked logo: 23mm
Minimum size for one-line logo: 36mm
The Monash College logo requires clear space. The minimum area surrounding the logo should be kept free of any other graphic element or text. The logo is positioned to achieve impact and for our brand to be identified.
Ideally, the Monash College logo should be placed top-left or bottom-right. However, there’s the flexibility for it to sit in any corner depending on content and imagery.

Alliances with other universities bolster our international reputation. When we reference our alliance with another university, the logo lockup has a supporting line of text. We refer to it in text only. For example, ‘A partnership between’.
