Bapak Andreas D. Prakasa, Head of Corporate Relations at PT Etana Biotechnologies Indonesia, brought his expertise in the field of biotechnology to the conversation,“The digitization of medical data enables personalised diagnostic or therapeutic solutions to treat diseases. Nowadays, the trend in medical therapies has recently shifted from chemical drugs to biological products.

Therefore, it is a good ecosystem for biopharmaceutical company development, including in Indonesia. Biological products provide innovative platforms that can both improve patient care through effective clinical treatment and treat a broad range of diseases. In the next decades, the advancement in medical biotechnology is promising to cure genetic disease, provide precise medicine for everyone with minimum adverse events, and discovery of new pharmaceutical products. However developing biopharmaceutical products is more complex not only in investment but also in technology and human resources,” said Bapak Andreas.
