In this event, Dr. Harriman Saragih, Assistant Professor at MBI Program, received the second Runner-Up position for the Generative AI Assessment Competition. His presentation about Navigating Marketing Challenges with the Power of Generative AI, explained that the Generative AI has the potential to revolutionize marketing. The students are encouraged to analyze real-world marketing challenges and explore how generative AI can solve them, requiring an understanding of its principles and foresight for effective integration.

In addition, Dr. Risqi Saputra, Assistant Professor at MDS Program, also presented his idea about Generative-assisted debugging in Learning Programming. Based on his teaching experience in his class, learning a programming language within a short duration is challenging due to its complexity. To overcome this, leveraging generative AI can aid students in accelerated learning.

It helps with debugging, suggesting corrections, and providing explanations, accelerating the grasp of programming concepts. However, students should use the feedback cautiously, reinforcing the importance of fundamental understanding and critical thinking.

TransformED 2023 provided participants with valuable takeaways that will shape the future of education. Educators from Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, and beyond learned about cutting-edge teaching practices, gaining inspiration from their peers and expanding their professional networks.
