UPH and Monash University, Indonesia Sign MoU: Paving the Way for Global Academic Excellence

Tangerang - Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) is committed to delivering quality education through various partnerships. One such collaboration was officially established between UPH and Monash University, Indonesia on August 6, 2024. This partnership was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by Dr. (Hon.) Jonathan L. Parapak, M. Eng., Sc., Rector of UPH, and Tantia Dian Permata Indah, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and VP of Operations and Enterprise of Monash University, Indonesia. The signing ceremony was also attended by Professor Matthew Nicholson, Pro Vice-Chancellor and President of Monash University, Indonesia.
In his speech, the Rector of UPH welcomed the collaboration between UPH and Monash University, Indonesia. He believes this partnership will provide UPH students with opportunities to continue their studies at a more professional level and become knowledgeable global citizens.

"We are delighted and warmly welcome this collaboration between UPH and Monash University, Indonesia. As we know, Monash University's main campus in Australia is one of the best universities in the world, and there will certainly be many opportunities arising from this partnership. I am confident that collaborating with Monash University, Indonesia will further enhance the quality of education for UPH students," explained the Rector of UPH.
Professor Matthew Nicholson also expressed his hope that this collaboration would yield positive results for both parties, enabling UPH and Monash University, Indonesia to grow together in education, teaching, research, and community service.

Collaborations, like our partnership with UPH, are crucial for advancing education in Indonesia. I hope this partnership will be long-lasting," Matthew stated.
The collaboration between UPH and Monash University, Indonesia will encompass applied research and studies, training for lecturers and students, community service, and opportunities for UPH students to continue their studies at Monash University, Indonesia.

"This collaboration with UPH is part of our Monash Indonesia University Pathway program, where UPH undergraduate students have a direct pathway to become students at Monash University, Indonesia. Through this exploration, we aim to jointly improve the quality of human resources in Indonesia. We believe that UPH is an excellent partner with a shared vision for enhancing the quality of education in Indonesia," Tantia explained.
The partnership between UPH and Monash University, Indonesia is expected to enrich students' learning experiences and strengthen the relationship between the two institutions in improving the quality of education in Indonesia.
